Halloween Cake

This cake was something I made YEARS ago...the kitty was coming out of a pumpkin. The candles take away from the design a bit-it was a combo birthday-Halloween party.

Here's just one of our cakes. We did a ton of specialty treats to go along with this theme: Glinda's Wands, Yellow Bricks, Munchkins...this party was a HUGE success!

Let's Get This Party Started!

Well, here we go! I've been baking for about as long as I can remember. I have been doing creative things nearly that long. Sooo, I got to thinking, and started thinking of ways that I could combine my love of baking with my creative side, and here we are! The Cake Lady is coming! Our theme is "The Party Starts Here", because the best parties start with an amazing cake. We want to be your go-to baker when you have a special event!
Here's what we do: We do not use fondant, as a personal preference. We feel very strongly that a cake should taste as good as it looks. I am more "old school"...like your mom might have baked. The twist is that if you see a cake you like-we can probably re-create it for you!
Oh yeah, and then there's all the other wonderful goodies. We bake incredible beautiful and tasty holiday pies. We use traditional, time-tested recipes. These are all staples on our holiday tables, and will soon be on yours as well. Once you've tried them, you won't be able to get by without them! (I know I can'tget by without baking them ALL every year!)
We also offer themed goodies for the party. Whatever the theme, I will design a special treat to go along with the cake. We can also plan the entire party for you!
Need classroom treats but are short on time or baking talents?! Well, you can call us! I have been sending special treats into the classrooms for nearly a decade now. Cupcakes, decorated cookies, cakes (of course), and other handmade treats-we can do them for you! We always have the "wow factor" when we enter the room, and you will too. It's our little secret;-)
